DigiFred Labs was founded by Fred Tolman, an engineer, educator, and retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
After more than two decades leading organizations where planning, execution, and continuous improvement were essential, Fred transitioned that same mindset into engineering. Today, while pursuing graduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering, he is building DigiFred Labs as a place where ambitious ideas can be explored, tested, and shared.
His goal is not simply to create innovative technology, but to make advanced engineering more approachable by documenting the complete journey, from initial concepts and early prototypes to setbacks, redesigns, and successful solutions.
